INSSA’s International Board of Directors reflects the importance of inclusivity across the field of humanitarian aid and development safety and security as well as borders. The Board of includes professionals of six nationalities from the both non-profit and for-profit development organizations, government agencies, international NGOs, and corporate security.

INSSA is a non-profit global membership association of individuals and organizations committed to improving the quality and effectiveness of safety and security for humanitarian relief and development assistance workers operating in complex and dangerous environments around the world. INSSA does this through four main avenues of programming: Advocacy, Collaboration, Education & Professional Development, and Standardization.
