American corporations, non-profits and faith-based organizations increasingly operate in kidnap hotspots. While many have long-term security programs, including preventive and kidnap operational response plans, few have procedures to support employees returning from captivity. Failure to meet this aspect of duty of care can leave organizations exposed to legal challenge.
This two-hour workshop will give you the “how to” on hostage reintegration, including health and mental health, assistance with practical challenges, return to work best practices, and strategies to manage the long-term impacts of captivity.
